Video of the 1.3 kW wind turbine taken on February 9, 2008 at Vanscoy, Saskatchewan. The temperatures that day reached a low of -33.3C (-27.94F) while the turbine still maintained operation; windchill was a low of -47C (-52.6F). The system was designed with climate and weather such as this in mind. Most of the background noise in this video is from the nearby highway and cars passing.
